| The City Square in downtown Wausau will once again be transformed July 10-11 by artists and their colorful pastel art drawings. 2010 is the 7th year for this sidewalk art festival which is for artists of all ages and levels of ability to participate and for art enthusiasts to observe and enjoy. Organized by the Center for Visual Arts (www.cva.org), ChalkFest Wausau will be held two days, Saturday, July 10, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Shep’s enjoys a front row seat to the show and we invite you to wander in after you view the art. Our annual Sidewalk Sale goes on concurrently and shops throughout downtown Wausau’s River District welcome you to enjoy the heart of our charming community.
