2012 BMX Bikes

From the Diamondback Catalog: “Diamondback was there in 1978, when kids (maybe you—or was it your Pops?) were catching air off plywood ramps on neighborhood sidewalks. BMX has seen its share of progression since then and Diamondback has progressed along with it. We’ve won championships, dug alongside you out at the local trails, and have seen the impossible become reality (take our Nicholai Rogatkin—double backflip at 14 years old? Really?). But the more things change, the more they stay the same. BMX and Diamondback are still here, innovating and having fun. For 2011, our commitment to bring you quality BMX bicycles remains strong. Diamondback BMX is proud to offer something for everyone: a streamlined product series makes it easy for you to get your hands on the perfect bike. And with signature parts from X-Games Silver Medalist Diogo Canina and legendary dirt jumper Darin Read, you can ride what the pros ride.”

Warranty

What is covered under the warranty on my Diamondback?

Every part on your new Diamondback bicycle has at least a one year warranty. The frame and fork has a warranty for 1, 5 or as many years as you (the original purchaser) own the bike. For more information on the warranty of your Diamondback, refer to page 32 in your owner’s manual or download it by clickinghere.

Can you send warranty items/parts for my Diamondback directly to me?

No. For your convenience and safety, all warranty service is performed by professional bicycle mechanics at authorized Diamondback dealers. For more information on the warranty of your Diamondback, refer to page 32 in your owner’s manual or download it by clicking here.

I bought a Diamondback from a friend. Is my bike still covered by a warranty?

Unfortunately (assuming you’ll ever need a warranty), the warranty that covered your Diamondback was nontransferable. Meaning; it was for “the original retail purchaser” of the bike. To read more about the warranty policy that used to cover your bike, refer to page 32 of the owner’s manual or download it by clicking here. Fortunately for you; if your friend spent much time at all riding the bike, any kind of defects in materials and/or workmanship would have already surfaced and been dealt with by now.
